Atlantic Detroit Diesel-Allison, a distributor and service provider for on- and off-highway products, faced a challenge in improving its service department's efficiency. The company needed to integrate and synchronize data between its iSeries system and an Oracle system to gain real-time information access, but found other solutions too costly and slow to implement.
Attunity implemented its Operational Data Replication (ODR) solution with Change Data Capture (CDC) to provide real-time data integration. The solution cut order processing time from 20 minutes to under 3 minutes, which enabled the service department to double its repair order capacity and associated revenues using existing resources. Atlantic Detroit Diesel-Allison also improved customer satisfaction and operational reporting, leading them to plan a company-wide rollout of the Attunity solution.
