Gjensidige, a major Norwegian insurance company, needed a way to embed a genuine culture of sustainability into its operations that would go beyond tokenism. The challenge was to engage and train employees at every level, helping them understand the company's sustainability goals and how to communicate them effectively. To address this, they partnered with vendor Attensi to utilize its game-based training service.

The solution from Attensi was a custom game-based simulation called "The Sustainability Game." This mobile-friendly training used real-life scenarios and gaming mechanics to let employees practice skills in a risk-free environment. The results were highly successful, with nearly 1,800 employees playing the game an average of 6.5 times each. This high level of engagement effectively equipped the staff with the knowledge to become champions for the company's sustainable business practices.
