How Google Built a Social Event Experience with Attendify

Google’s Export@Google summit in Dublin brought 360+ employees from across Europe together to learn about expanding into international markets. Event lead Mike Emling needed a single, best-in-class app to deliver logistics, agenda and speaker info while making it easy for attendees to communicate and form peer-to-peer connections in real time.

Google chose Attendify, built and promoted the app before the two-day event, and used features like attendee profiles, an activity stream, quick polls and hashtag/Twitter integration to drive interaction. The app achieved 100% downloads, about 25,000 sessions during the event, high real-time engagement and actionable feedback, saved significant development time versus a custom build, and earned rave reviews for improving networking and event outcomes.
