Dimensional Fund Advisors, a global investment manager with over $550 billion in assets under management, faced the challenge of protecting distributed financial assets and meeting strict regulatory requirements with a small security team. To operationalize MITRE ATT&CK and establish a strategic baseline for threat-informed defense, the firm worked with AttackIQ, using the AttackIQ Security Optimization Platform and breach-and-attack simulation to test and validate controls.

AttackIQ implemented ATT&CK-aligned breach and attack simulations and continuous security control validation, enabling Dimensional Fund Advisors to run purple-team exercises, produce real performance data, and measure security effectiveness.
