PDM deployed Micro Focus Reflection for the Web, a web-based terminal emulator with strong authentication, encryption and centralized session management; PDM also added an ASP-based IP check for extra security. The browser-based solution eliminated complex VPN setups, enabled near-instant customer access via a URL, simplified sales and deployment, supported HIPAA compliance, and significantly improved customer satisfaction.
