The customer, UNICEF Romania, faced the challenge of identifying and delivering services to vulnerable "invisible children" in rural communities. They required a real-time monitoring and evaluation system capable of handling data collection from multiple sources, functioning offline, and being used by social workers with varying technical skills. The vendor, Atta Systems, developed the Aurora software solution to meet this need.

Atta Systems implemented the Aurora platform and mobile application, which provided offline functionality and real-time data synchronization. The solution successfully identified over 30,000 vulnerable children and registered over 300,000 persons in the system. It was scaled to over 400 localities in Romania, creating a powerful tool for social workers and policymakers and significantly increasing the impact of social protection policies.
