Nanjing Financial School, a financial school in downtown Nanjing serving about 28,000 students, needed a secure, manageable, and cost-effective virtual desktop infrastructure. Its IT team was struggling with ageing classroom and office PCs, student-downloaded applications, and destructive viruses, while also trying to support growing demand on a limited budget.

Atrust provided the w100 PCoIP zero client as part of a virtual desktop setup with VMware Horizon View and Microsoft Windows 7 on ESXi. The school deployed more than 400 Atrust w100 zero clients across classrooms and staff administration, and the rollout took only a few days with minimal IT staff, much faster than a typical PC implementation.
