Wofford College, a small liberal arts institution in South Carolina with roughly 73 buildings, about 170 meters, and 250 utility accounts, faced the challenge of managing fragmented energy data across three systems, correctly identifying building uses to set HVAC schedules, and proving to students, staff, and faculty that everyday decisions affect campus consumption.

By deploying BuildingOS (including Data Manager and a Storyboard) the team identified and backfilled data gaps, built custom dashboards and classroom cards, and established weather‑normalized monthly bill reports. The result was clearer operational visibility, measurable energy savings through better HVAC scheduling and optimized building use, and stronger campus engagement with sustainability efforts.
