Atrius partnered with Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport to modernize the airport’s wayfinding as travelers shifted to mobile-first planning. PHX needed to replace static PDF maps, highlight health and safety amenities, improve day‑of‑travel flow, and boost discoverability of shops, restaurants, and services that drive non-aeronautical revenue.
The solution was upgraded, mobile-friendly maps powered by Atrius® Personal Wayfinder embedded on the PHX website. Travelers can now navigate to check-in, security, restrooms, PPE vending machines, COVID testing sites, contactless food service, and retail or local vendors, while staff-assisted and self-service options coexist—improving passenger experience, supporting concession visibility, and meeting expectations for safe, contactless travel.
