A Atrius Case Study

Preview of the Weber State University Case Study

Driven by commitment, innovation, and the powerful capabilities of Atrius sustainability & energy management software, WSU is reshaping its own future

Weber State University set an ambitious goal to become carbon neutral by 2050, later accelerating that target to 2040. To support this sustainability challenge, the university used Atrius sustainability and energy management software to help monitor energy use, improve building performance, and guide campus-wide efforts across multiple buildings and systems.

Atrius enabled Weber State University to benchmark energy data in real time, set alerts, detect anomalies, and analyze pre- and post-retrofit results to verify savings. With Atrius, the university has recaptured more than $21 million in savings and reduced Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions by 31%, 60%, and 34% from 2007 baselines, while also improving water monitoring and response to leaks.
