A Atoss Case Study
Wanzl, the global market leader for shopping trolleys, needed a more flexible way to meet fluctuating order volumes and individual customer requests in its production operations. The company, based in Leipheim, planned to introduce ATOSS Workforce Scheduling with an online interface connected to its SAP ERP HCM system for 1,500 employees at its Leipheim and Kirchheim sites.
ATOSS implemented workforce scheduling with the Flexible Assignment Plan and Qualification Management modules to assign employees to shifts and workplaces via drag-and-drop while staying compliant with regulations, agreements, and skills requirements. The solution improved planning quality, streamlined staffing and administration, and is intended to help Wanzl reduce temporary labor hours over the long term.
