Pierburg, a long-established automotive supplier known for its high-quality pumps, faced the challenge of making workforce management more efficient and demand-driven in a highly competitive industry. The company asked Atoss to review processes spanning demand planning, vacation and deployment planning, as well as time recording and evaluation, with the goal of reducing risk and improving cost-effective scheduling.
Atoss implemented its Enterprise Solution at Pierburg, starting with a pilot in Hartha for 335 employees and targeting integration with SAP APO and SAP HCM. The solution centralized scheduling, removed manual processes, improved error-free time and attendance management, and automated compliance tasks such as planning first responders and fire prevention officers. Atoss Task Management also added proactive alerts by SMS and worktime monitoring, helping Pierburg achieve demand-optimized planning across system boundaries.
