MEDIAN, Germany’s largest private provider of rehabilitation and participation services, needed a flexible way to manage highly complex staffing structures across 120 clinics and care facilities. Using the ATOSS Medical Solution, MEDIAN aimed to support demand-driven scheduling, employee-oriented workforce management, and paperless time management for thousands of employees.

ATOSS implemented a standard solution that could model complex roles and workflows, including scheduling for doctors, therapists, care staff, and other functions, while also handling working time requests and self-service approvals. The rollout covered 7,400 employees at 20 facilities and was progressing on schedule. MEDIAN gained real-time visibility into shifts, time accounts, and vacation planning, with future phases expected to add rule-based planning suggestions and BI integration for deeper analysis and greater transparency.
