AHC Oberflächentechnik GmbH, a European leader in functional surface coatings with 19 sites, ~900 employees and €100M+ revenue, faced inefficient, error‑prone HR and working‑time processes caused by decentralized databases and manual parallel lists. The company needed a flexible, intuitive and future‑proof workforce management solution to integrate time recording across sites, reduce administrative workload, improve transparency and better plan its roughly 600 production employees without extensive training.
AHC implemented the ATOSS integrated workforce management system (time & attendance, workflow, employee/manager self‑services, workforce scheduling, cost‑center and task management with a DATEV Lodas payroll interface), centralizing all time data and automating calculations and transfers. Results included a reduction of leave/trip application time from ~1 week to 4 minutes, ~1,500 hours freed annually for value‑creating work, 50% faster evaluations, improved company‑wide transparency, simplified multi‑site processes, reduced training needs and higher employee integration and satisfaction.
