JSC Georgian State Electrosystem, the national electricity transmission and dispatch operator in Georgia, needed to modernize its communications to move from TDM to a fully IP platform, increase reliability and availability, reduce communications and maintenance costs, and deploy a modern contact center with ACD, IVR and API integration. They engaged InfoTel to supply and implement a solution based on Atos Unify OpenScape Voice and Atos Unify OpenScape Contact Center Enterprise from Atos.
Atos delivered a geo-separated duplex Atos Unify OpenScape Voice configuration and Atos Unify OpenScape Contact Center Enterprise deployed in the customer’s virtual environment, integrated with the existing OpenScape 4000 and PSTN gateways and complemented by mobile clients. The Atos solution (implemented by InfoTel) achieved carrier-grade reliability and high availability (99.999% uptime, under 5.1 minutes downtime per year), enabled a smooth TDM-to-IP transition, reduced operational risk and costs, and improved contact-center efficiency through skills-based routing, ACD, IVR and presence features.
