Case Study: Objenious achieves scalable end-to-end LoRa® IoT security with Atos Horus

A Atos Case Study

Preview of the Objenious Case Study

By 2020, Bouygues Telecom estimates there will be between one and two billion connected objects in France

Objenious, the Bouygues Telecom IoT subsidiary, needed a convincing, demonstrable end-to-end security strategy for its LoRa®-based IoT services across smart cities, industry, agriculture and logistics. Rather than point products, Objenious sought a long-term security partner and selected Atos (using its Horus security platform) to deliver continuous, managed protection and analytics for a vast, rapidly growing device estate.

Atos implemented the LoRa®-compliant Horus platform to generate and manage security keys in real time, backed by Public Key Infrastructure and Hardware Security Modules, plus automated lifecycle tooling for adding, monitoring and decommissioning devices. The solution was delivered in 12 months, scales to handle millions of devices, eliminates stored keys to reduce attack surface, and enabled Objenious to deploy France’s first highly secure LoRa network while rapidly issuing trusted device identities on demand.
