Building critical health ICT infrastructure for delivery of health care to every Western Australian

Health Support Services (HSS), the ICT service provider for the Western Australian public health system, needed to move more than 1,000 clinical and corporate applications across 500+ healthcare sites onto a contemporary, scalable technology platform. Working with Atos, HSS set out to modernize critical health infrastructure while meeting strict security and compliance requirements.

Atos delivered a hybrid cloud and managed services solution spanning private cloud, managed public cloud, co-location, and cloud orchestration for 2,000+ servers, including AWS and Microsoft Azure. The program improved resilience, service availability, and security compliance, supported faster scaling during COVID-19, and reduced data center energy consumption by 19%.
