Microsoft relies on its Executive Briefing Center (EBC) and Industry Experience Center (IEC) in Redmond to demonstrate solutions, host over 20,000 visitors a year and run more than 1,400 multi‑day briefings and executive events. To keep these high‑profile experiences seamless and flexible—especially as COVID‑19 forced a rapid shift from in‑person to remote engagement—Microsoft engaged Atos to enhance the visitor experience by managing the EBC/IEC technology operations and infrastructure.
Atos implemented end‑to‑end IT operations and infrastructure management—covering budget and vendor coordination, lifecycle recommendations, audio/video installation and support, digital signage and CMS management, and briefing support—while creating on‑site, hybrid and remote plans. As a result, Atos helped Microsoft continue to support its 20,000+ annual visitors and 1,400+ briefings through the pandemic, enabled a rapid pivot to hybrid engagement, delivered cost savings via technology reuse, sped up customized services for executive events, and strengthened security and overall visitor experience.
