A Atos Case Study
CPI, through its Medicines Manufacturing Innovation Centre, wanted to help pharmaceutical manufacturers move beyond traditional batch production toward more personalized, continuous manufacturing methods. To do this safely, CPI needed a way to share reusable, low-risk architectural guidance with industry leaders, and it partnered with Atos to develop enterprise architecture blueprints.
Atos used the TOGAF framework and an agile, collaborative approach to create technology-agnostic blueprints with CPI and its Digital Membership. The result was a validated repository covering key challenges like sustainability, digital twins, real-time release, personalized medicine, and optimized material flow, complete with architectural stacks, capability models, process flows, application views, and data integration schemas. These blueprints help manufacturers reduce planning time, lower implementation risk, and accelerate smarter, more agile pharma manufacturing.
