Quell Relief, developed by NeuroMetrix, needed a mobile experience to help users control and understand their drug-free chronic pain therapy. They partnered with Atomic Object to create the Quell Relief app for iOS and Android, enabling users to manage therapy sessions, customize settings, and track pain, sleep, activity, and device status.

Atomic Object built the mobile app and supporting Quell Health Cloud backend, with Bluetooth LE syncing to the wearable device. The result was a widely used product with nearly 60,000 devices shipped by February 2017, 20,900 monthly active app users, and about 28,500 app accesses per day, alongside strong user-study outcomes showing 81% reported improved chronic pain and overall health.
