Microline Technology Corp. needed a faster, more accurate way to inspect oil and gas pipelines and manage the enormous amount of data produced by its new 24-inch Smart PIG. Atomic Object helped by building the Streamline Windows app to support technicians in configuring, testing, launching, and collecting data from the device.

Atomic Object developed embedded software for the Smart PIG, a C# WPF desktop app for Streamline, an open-source communication tool, and a simulation framework for testing with real data. The result was a streamlined inspection workflow that made more than 1,000 sensors and 1TB of data easier to understand and manage, helping technicians work under pressure with the right information at the right time.
