A Atlassian Case Study
Tinder, the Los Angeles–based location‑based dating app launched in 2012 that handles about 1.4 billion swipes a day, outgrew its informal project processes. Rapid growth left bug tracking and project management fragmented: defects were tracked in spreadsheets, customer service and analytics requests ran through email, test management wasn’t integrated with issue tracking, and coordinating bug fixes with deployments was slow and time-consuming.
Tinder implemented Jira Software and Confluence with help from Atlassian Expert Clearvision, who customized workflows, integrated third‑party tools, and established governance. The new setup streamlined cross‑department communication, reduced manual effort, and boosted productivity—allowing Tinder to manage issues and deployments far more efficiently.
