Case Study: PlantMiner achieves faster, more frequent releases with Atlassian Bitbucket Pipelines

A Atlassian Case Study

Preview of the PlantMiner Case Study

PlantMiner builds a Marketplace for the Construction Industry with Bitbucket

PlantMiner is an Australian marketplace that connects builders and suppliers for civil construction projects, serving over 30,000 active searchers with a 60-person team including 15 developers. In its start-up phase a large codebase and small team made deploying new features slow, so the company moved off GitHub to Bitbucket to get a single, centralized tool for source control, built-in CI/CD and seamless Jira integration to speed up collaboration and free developer time.

By adopting Bitbucket, Bitbucket Pipelines and Jira, PlantMiner tied commits and pull requests to Jira issues and automated testing, builds and deployments in one platform. The result: release cycles sped from once a month to twice a week, earlier QA and customer feedback, fewer merge conflicts, faster time to market and higher-quality releases — improving the user experience and team productivity.
