GlobalGiving adopted Hipchat (with Jira and other Atlassian integrations) as a single source of truth for urgent projects and disaster response; during the Nepal earthquake Hipchat connected staff, field partners, and international offices in real time. Dedicated disaster rooms, instant group video chats, and tight integrations with deploy pipelines sped decision‑making, boosted productivity, and helped the organization scale while optimizing the donor experience.
