France TV, France’s leading broadcaster, needed to rethink how its Digital Content department—about 100 technicians across teams for news, sports, culture and VOD—planned and managed dozens of simultaneous projects for web, mobile and smart TV. Relying on bulletin boards, post‑its and disparate tools left the teams inefficient and lacking clear visibility and coordination.
They implemented Jira and Jira Agile, plus Confluence and Hipchat, to drive an agile transformation with daily tracking, visual workflows and configurable boards. The tools improved workload estimation, cross‑team visibility and document management, reduced delays and boosted quality and flexibility—while Hipchat enabled faster, more focused incident communication during high‑traffic events.
