Xero rolled out Jira Software and Confluence, using flexible Jira workflows, Atlassian Marketplace add‑ons, and Confluence as a central knowledge base and internal blog to standardize processes while preserving team autonomy. The new tools sped onboarding during intense hiring, broke down information silos, improved cross-team collaboration, and allowed Xero to scale its development organization while reinforcing core values like creativity, openness and ownership.
