Case Study: JAMF Software achieves DevOps transformation and faster releases with Atlassian

A Atlassian Case Study

Preview of the Jamf Case Study

Atlassian fuels DevOps culture at JAMF Software

JAMF Software, a Minneapolis-based company that builds enterprise management tools for Apple devices used by more than 7,000 customers and 5.5 million devices, experienced rapid growth—headcount jumped from 165 to 505 and the engineering team doubled. That scale exposed slow, manual build and test processes that left developers “hurrying up and waiting,” so JAMF needed stronger processes, tooling, and a DevOps culture to speed delivery and improve quality.

JAMF’s DevOps manager drove adoption of Atlassian tools and Git: Bitbucket Server for source control, Bamboo for CI/CD, Jira Software for issue tracking, and Jira Service Desk integrated with HipChat and Confluence for support and knowledge management. The new toolchain and culture increased transparency, improved code quality, simplified collaboration, and shortened release cycles, enabling faster delivery to customers.
