Mitchell International, a San Diego–based provider of claims-handling and repair workflow technology serving insurers and repair shops, needed a centralized content-collaboration tool for its Enterprise Platform Initiative. Existing documentation systems were poor fits, so the Enterprise Platform team adopted Confluence; usage spread organically across teams, creating reliance that a single-server setup could no longer support.
Product manager Michela Baca led an internal roadshow and champion program and Mitchell upgraded to Confluence Data Center for high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery. The move enabled seamless, enterprise-wide collaboration, increased adoption across business units, faster knowledge sharing, and greater confidence that the platform can scale with the business.
