Case Study: Karma Automotive achieves enterprise-grade reliability and scalable, secure engineering collaboration with Atlassian Confluence

A Atlassian Confluence Case Study

Preview of the Karma Automotive Case Study

How an uncompromising automobile is built on uncompromising engineering systems

Karma Automotive, maker of the luxury electric-hybrid Revero, needed to modernize its engineering systems as demand for Atlassian tools grew across the company. The Engineering Services group relied on Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket but required an upgraded, enterprise-grade installation that could meet strict governance, reliability, and scalability requirements while supporting broader internal and external collaboration.

Working with Atlassian partner Go2Group, Karma migrated to a current Jira Data Center deployment with a two‑node architecture, F5 load balancing, and Azure SSO (SAML 2.0), all hosted on‑premise. The result is a highly available, performant, and secure platform that simplifies sign‑on and permissions, scales with the business, boosts user productivity, and enables safer supplier access and expanded cross‑departmental adoption.
