Ginkgo Bioworks triples their output and halves costs each year for smarter decisions by moving to Atlassian Cloud Premium

Ginkgo Bioworks, a company on a mission to scale efficiently and support its scientific work, needed to migrate to a faster, more secure collaboration environment with better storage, speed, and service. Working with Atlassian Confluence, the team moved to Atlassian Cloud Premium and needed to reduce friction across systems while improving collaboration and visibility.

Atlassian Confluence helped Ginkgo Bioworks complete a smooth migration and then layer in new tools and automations across Jira Service Management, Atlassian Guard, and Okta. The results included seamless user adoption, stronger access control, and better incident and asset management for more than 700 lab equipment items. Ginkgo Bioworks also reported that output tripled and costs were cut in half each year, while team collaboration and decision-making became much faster.
