Amadeus, a leading provider of technology for the global travel and tourism industry (including the Altéa Customer Management System used by airlines, hotels and travel agents), supports more than 5,000 developers across 16 R&D centers. After standardizing on Atlassian and moving from SVN to Git, the company needed uninterrupted, high-performance access to its development tools—no downtime or latency—to support around-the-clock global teams.

To meet that need Amadeus deployed Atlassian Data Center products (Bitbucket Data Center, Confluence Data Center, Jira Software Server and Hipchat Server) for high availability, scalability, and easier on-premises management. The result: teams handle more than 1,000 pull requests a day for faster, higher-quality releases, while Confluence supports 100+ active users hourly and ~500 new pages daily, keeping distributed teams connected and productive.
