Dominos delivers technology & pizza faster with Atlassian

Domino’s, the global pizza delivery company, needed a faster way to get technology updates into customers’ hands across apps, web and voice platforms. Their DevOps workflow was slowed because security input came too late, requiring hours of meetings to determine requirements and creating friction between developers and security teams.

Working with Atlassian tools and partner Forty8Fifty Labs, Domino’s built a 10-question Confluence form that auto-generates Jira security tickets and feeds data into Splunk ITSI via the Splunk for Jira app. The change automated security workflows, cut review time from more than 20 hours to minutes, saved about $100,000 annually, reduced risk by 75%, and gave leadership clear security metrics to improve code health and delivery speed.
