A Atlassian Confluence Case Study

Preview of the Cancer Research UK Case Study

Cancer Research UK - Customer Case Study

Cancer Research UK is a London-based charity of roughly 3,000 staff that supports researchers, clinicians and fundraisers with a mission to improve cancer survival. In 2013 bringing web development in-house exposed fragmented processes — teams tracked work in spreadsheets and documents, used waterfall releases every six months, and suffered slow, siloed delivery that left supporters waiting for outdated solutions.

CRUK adopted Atlassian’s Jira, Confluence and Trello under a Community License, worked with partner Clearvision and trained multiple admins to spread Agile practices. The result: streamlined workflows and cross-team collaboration, faster code review and delivery (large teams moved from biannual to monthly releases, and development now ships hundreds of updates per year), and measurable improvements in pace and quality that directly support the charity’s mission.
