Redfin, a Seattle-based real-estate services company, needed to deliver up-to-the-minute property data to buyers and sellers and accelerate its software delivery to keep the website and apps current and reliable. By adopting Atlassian’s tools—Bitbucket Server for Git, JIRA Cloud for workflow and team coordination, Bamboo Cloud for automated, scalable builds, and Confluence for documentation—Redfin improved performance, integration, and cost efficiency (e.g., easily spinning EC2 instances up and down). The result: release cadence tripled, going from one release every three weeks to weekly releases plus an additional daily deploy, keeping the site available and continuously shipping updates.
