TotalEnergies builds Namibia offshore workforce over 2024-present with Atlas Professionals

TotalEnergies, as a key operator in Namibia's emerging offshore energy sector, faced the challenge of preparing local talent for long-term industry participation. The need was to create awareness of offshore careers, improve workforce readiness, and support local content objectives. Atlas Professionals, through its Atlas NextWave service, was engaged to address this challenge via the Greenhands Offshore Namibia programme.

Atlas NextWave implemented a series of workforce development initiatives including career awareness events, readiness programmes, and industry engagement sessions. This solution brought together stakeholders, educational institutions, and operators to create clearer pathways into offshore careers. The outcome was a strengthened awareness of opportunities and a stronger foundation for future workforce participation, contributing to the sustainable growth of Namibia's energy sector.
