Franciscus Hospital, a 472‑bed NIAZ‑certified hospital in the Netherlands, needed to move 1,600 virtual desktops (800 concurrent) to Windows 7 while keeping costs low, reusing decade‑old PCs as thin clients and protecting a mission‑critical electronic patient record system.
