PEARL iZUMi, a mountain biking, cycling, and outdoor gear brand, was struggling with platform limitations, maintenance issues, and fraud-related chargebacks that made it hard for its marketing team to focus on customer experience and growth. The company also needed a better way to manage merchandising and improve search so shoppers could find products more easily.

To address these issues, PEARL iZUMi worked with Athos Commerce through eHouse Studio while migrating to Shopify Plus, using Athos Commerce for category merchandising, personalization, search, and autocomplete. The result was stronger site search performance: shoppers who used search were 4.2x more valuable, 11% of overall revenue came from search, and cross-sell recommendations on the cart page produced 4x conversions.
