Relate, the U.K.’s largest provider of relationship support, needed a way to coordinate intake, call center operations, therapist allocations, scheduling, and case records across its nationwide federated network. Athena Software provided its Penelope case management software to replace fragmented processes and create a shared system for staff and centers across the country.
With Athena Software’s Penelope, Relate implemented a centralized, web-based platform for intake, appointments, payments, notes, reporting, and service tracking. The solution helped Relate open and operate its national call center and scale operations significantly, reaching over 94,000 counseling clients in 250,000 sessions, more than 168,000 calls handled, and about 20,000 children and families served in over 60,000 sessions in 2013/14.
