Parents as Teachers, an international nonprofit supporting early childhood development for families across the U.S. and six other countries, needed a more robust and customized data management system as its network grew to more than 3,000 programs. The organization selected Athena Software’s Penelope case management software to help manage family support and engagement data more effectively and consistently.

Athena Software implemented the first phase of Penelope, working closely with Parents as Teachers through development, launch, and user testing, while also automating data transfer from the previous system. The new platform supports faster access to critical information, better reporting with Tableau compatibility, and long-term time and cost savings through improved connectivity and streamlined data management.
