King County EAP in Seattle needed to replace a paper-based case management process with a more secure, mobile, and web-accessible solution for its staff serving thousands of employees across 17 county departments. Working with Athena Software, the team selected Penelope software to meet its need for easier off-site access, stronger HIPAA protection, and a more intuitive system for EAP case management.

Athena Software implemented Penelope with cloud hosting, mobile-friendly access, configurable reporting, and the Engage feature for sending forms to clients electronically. The result was improved confidentiality, easier collaboration and case access, better demographic reporting across departments, and greater flexibility for staff working in the field or away from the office.
