Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS), through its Military Family Services division, supports more than 1 million Canadian Armed Forces members, Veterans, and their families with services that address the unique challenges of military life, including frequent relocations and deployments. To better manage these programs across Military Family Resource Centres nationwide, CFMWS needed a secure, reliable case management solution. Athena Software implemented Penelope as the client and case management system for the Veteran Family Program and the Family Information Line, with rollout across all 32 Military Family Resource Centres in Canada. The solution supports programs such as mental health, employment, deployment support, and family services, while reinforcing CFMWS’s security and privacy requirements through Athena Software’s cloud-based platform and ISO 27001 commitment.
