Employee Organization, a 16,000-employee organization, faced hiring and workforce performance challenges and had mediocre Press-Gainey customer service scores. To improve selection and development, they engaged Athena Assessment and used the Athena Quotient (AQ) as a pre-employment testing and development tool.

Athena Assessment implemented AQ in hiring and development (including a 300-person control group) and tracked results over nine months. The AQ group showed large performance-evaluation gains: Unsatisfactory −50%, Fair −81%, Commendable +16%, Very Commendable +79%, Distinguished +40%.
