Case Study: Swiss Re achieves enterprise-wide end-user experience visibility with Aternity

A Aternity Case Study

Preview of the Swiss Re Case Study

Swiss Re focuses on end-user experience as part of a wider digital transformation and workplace strategy

Swiss Re, a global reinsurance and insurance group headquartered in Zurich with around 80 offices worldwide, set out to modernize its Digital Workplace to make staff more effective and flexible (including BYOD). The IT team needed to move from reactive, anecdotal troubleshooting to measurable end‑user experience visibility—improving application performance, producing performance baselines, and gaining end‑to‑end insight across Windows, Office and business applications where their previous tool didn’t scale or capture real user experience.

Swiss Re piloted Aternity’s End User Experience Monitoring (initial PoC then 1,500 devices) to collect real‑time metrics across physical, virtual and mobile endpoints. Aternity automatically generates granular baselines, isolates delays to client, network or back‑end, and provides a single view of applications across locations—cutting troubleshooting time, revealing onboarding (not technical) issues, enabling proactive rollouts, and delivering measurable efficiency gains that quickly covered the deployment cost while empowering stakeholders to enforce performance service levels.
