Remotely Manage the Whole Server Room and Improve Work Efficiency with ATEN’s KVM Over the NETTM and CC2000 Centralized Management Software

KESCO (Korea Electrical Safety Corporation), a Korean public company, faced challenges with inefficient server room management. Their IT staff could not simultaneously manage computers across multiple racks and had to be physically present in the server room to access systems, which was located on a different floor from their office. They required a solution from ATEN that would provide remote control, support multiple computer platforms, and improve overall management efficiency.

ATEN implemented a solution using two KN4132 KVM Over the NET™ switches and CC2000 centralized management software. This allowed IT staff to manage all 64 servers remotely from a single portal, significantly improving efficiency. The solution had a measurable impact, reducing the required IT staff from 5-6 personnel down to just 1-2 for server management, resulting in substantial cost savings. ATEN's products also simplified the environment with Cat 5 cabling and provided multiplatform support through specific adapter cables.
