ATEN provided a solution for the National Thermal Power Corporation, which was challenged with managing 90 workstations used by 30 simultaneous users in a crowded room. The customer needed a KVM switch to streamline its hardware management, conserve space, and ensure smooth connections between its Dell workstations, USB peripherals, and monitors.

The solution implemented was the ATEN KH1508A KVM switch, which allowed a single console to control up to eight computers. This streamlined operations by enabling instant server access via multiple selection methods, eliminated compatibility concerns, and created a more comfortable working environment by allowing users to be located farther from their workstations using Cat 5e cabling.
