JDS Installs ATEN’s Centralized Remote Management Solution to Create an Efficient and Secured Working Environment

Japan Digital Serve Corporation (JDS) faced the challenge of providing secure and stable remote access to its server room for system maintenance. Their existing solution, using unencrypted VNC software, posed a security risk and was unreliable, often forcing engineers to be physically present to resolve issues or transfer log files. They needed a secure and efficient centralized remote management solution from a vendor like ATEN.

JDS implemented ATEN's KN4124v IP-KVM switches, the CC2000 centralized management software, and a KL1100 LCD console. This ATEN solution provided encrypted data transfer, stable remote access, and convenient virtual media file transfers. The results included a significantly improved security level, greater operational efficiency, and the added benefit of being able to monitor all servers simultaneously using the Panel Array Mode.
