Jameson Distillery Pub - Customer Case Study

The Jameson Distillery Pub, a large Irish pub in Cologne, Germany, faced the challenge of managing a complex digital signage system across 15 screens, including long cable runs of up to 70 meters. They needed a future-proof solution to distribute video signals from a central point, support displays from different manufacturers, and offer an effective price-quality balance. To meet this need, they turned to ATEN for its modular matrix switch solution.

ATEN implemented its VM1600 Modular Matrix Switch, configured with HDMI input boards and HDBaseT output boards. This system used a single Cat cable to send audio, video, and control signals over long distances to HDBaseT receivers at each display. The result was a simplified and robust infrastructure that was easy to operate and manage. According to the pub's manager, the system is not only user-friendly but is also backed by excellent after-sales service from ATEN.
