A ATEN Case Study
A cooking school in Japan sought to enhance its teaching by using cameras to broadcast close-up cooking demonstrations and digital recipes to student monitors. The key challenges involved switching seamlessly between these video feeds and integrating equipment with different interfaces, including HDMI, SDI, and VGA. To address this, they worked with ATEN.
ATEN provided a solution using their Video Matrix Switches, Video Extenders, and Video Converters, including the VM5404H and VE812 models. This implementation featured ATEN's Seamless Switch technology for ultra-low latency video switching and HDBaseT for long-distance signal extension. The result was a fully integrated system that allowed students to view every step of the cooking process without interruption, significantly improving the learning experience.
