A Malaysia based university needed to construct a new campus mosque and required a way to broadcast religious programs. Their challenge was to find an A/V extension solution that could transmit content from a laptop to multiple displays over a long distance and be compatible with their existing digital signage system with easy source switching. They turned to ATEN for a solution using their professional A/V products.

ATEN implemented a solution using their VS1204T A/V splitter, VE170RQ receivers, a VS134A video splitter, and VS201 video switches. This setup met all the university's requirements by supporting multiple displays, extending the signal transmission distance up to 300 meters using Cat 5e cable, and providing automatic switching between sources. The result was an exceptional prayer environment with crisp, clear video and audio quality for the students.
