An India based government IT department needed to establish a new data center to provide secure regional access to 50 servers. Their challenge was to find a remote management solution that would operate efficiently within their current infrastructure and allow for centralized control from multiple locations. They partnered with ATEN to address this need.

ATEN implemented its KN2124v KVM Over the NET™ Switch and CL1000 LCD Console solution. This provided the department with remote multiuser access, the ability to control up to 24 servers in a single rack unit, and centralized management of all servers, which significantly boosted management efficiency and administrative flexibility. The space-saving design of the solution also led to a more efficient use of valuable rack space.
